TopDown questions roles, the places we take and the places we leave behind, it talks about the relations of domination and submission in the social field, whether at work or in everyday life. In this circus show, the characters take the dynamics of the beliefs placed on these conventional roles and turn them upside down. Ironizing through Icarian games to the point of not knowing who is manipulating whom, making fun of power relations without ever telling us what to think or do with them. The slightest breach leads to the possibility of a change. Presenting a leg, extending a hand, smiling, become multiples invitations to dare and gradually leading these three characters to a vertical dance where the music echoes their state of mind.
About
La Triochka is an acrobatic lift trio composed of Clémence Gilbert (base), Alice Noël (flyer and base) and Marianna Boldini (flyer). All three met in 2016 during the Compagnie XY project.
Thanks to a few cabarets, the trio gradually became known and had the chance to participate in some prestigious events such as the Prin Haute Couture Fashion Show, Dior's summer 2019 collection with the English company Mimbre and the 69th FIFA Congress, Women's World Cup with the English company Barely Methodical Troup.
From 2019, Le Triochka worked on the creation of their first show TopDown, the first performances of which were played in the spring of 2023 as part of the Spring festival.
